This wine has a lifted nose of red and black fruit, with hints of Provençal herbs and a dusting of pepper. Medium bodied with fresh red fruits on the palate with fine long tannins and a wonderful finish.
The Cockscomb Cabernet Sauvignon shows classic varietal characters. It is a medium to full-bodied wine with considerable presence; ‘Cockscomb’ shows a lovely nose of red currants and blackberries and finishes with well-rounded tannins and length.
