Springs Road 'little island red' Shiraz 2024

Grapes are harvested and brought back to our Willunga winery before being crushed and fermented in open vessels. A small percentage of the Shiraz underwent a whole bunch ferment (i.e. not crushed prior to being fermented). This process highlights the red berry fruit characters of the Shiraz. We use older French oak barrels to store the wine in, so the oak characters of the wine are minimal; which allows the fresh primary fruit characters to shine.
